MOTORISTS are up in arms on Twitter after watching a video showing the glovebox of a new electric SUV.
The video was uploaded by Twitter user @Peter_M_V along with the caption: 'Please God no.'

It shows a YouTube Short taken by YouTube star Doug DeMuro.
DeMuro is sat in the driver's seat of the new Cadillac Lyriq electric SUV, which is on sale in the US for around $60,000 (£54,000).
He reaches out to where the glovebox handle would traditionally be to show that there isn't one on the Lyriq.
The camera then turns to focus on the infotainment screen and shows a range of on-screen menu buttons.

DeMuro hits a button that says 'Controls' with a window and light bulb icon next to it.
That brings up another menu, and he next hits a button labelled 'Glove Box Release'.
Hitting this button pops the Lyriq's glovebox open to reveal the car's owner's manual and other documents inside.
People couldn't believe how complicated and unnecessary this process is in the comments.
